It shouldn’t be news to anyone that Push Over Festival is back again this Labour Day Monday for an action-packed day of music. Both new and established bands will be taking to the stages, and this time the all ages festival is bigger and better than ever – it’s all grown up.
The Amity Affliction will be headlining this festival’s 21st Birthday Bash at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, but they’re not the only big names showing up. DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, Northeast Party House, Twelve Foot Ninja and Dream On Dreamer are just some of the bands playing (and signing!).
Of course, it’s not all about the big bands, with nine very worthy young bands battling it out in the FReeZA Push Start Grand Final. A lot of past winners have gone on to do great things, so it’s worth checking them out. Of course, The Push loves helping young musicians out, which is why there will also be the Push Underground Hip Hop Showcase.
If that’s not enough, there is plenty of excellent food (but definitely no alcohol) to devour while you check out your favourite up and coming bands. You can check out the full lineup on The Push’s website, and the site map is below.
Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
